When Is the Best Time of Year to Pave a Driveway in Oregon?
January 21, 2026A Driveway Can Look Great and Still Be Built Wrong
January 21, 2026One of the biggest concerns homeowners have is not knowing what the process will look like once work begins.
A typical residential project starts with a site evaluation. This is where we look at grading, drainage, access, and soil conditions. From there, old materials are removed and excavation is done to create a stable foundation if needed.
Once the base is properly installed and compacted, asphalt is laid and rolled to create a smooth surface. The final step is cleanup and making sure the property is left in good condition. Most residential driveways take 2 to 3 days from initial prep to final paving.
In addition to driveways, many homeowners need excavation work for drainage corrections, driveway extensions, or site prep. Doing this work correctly upfront prevents future issues.
